A page-turner mystery. A bit on the graphic side regarding the crime. The author had me guessing to the end. Even at the end, I wanted to look back to see what clues I missed in guessing the correct culprit.

Excellent final(?) installment in this series for middle-grade readers that I’ve enjoyed as an adult! It is a 21st-century version of fun, wholesome children’s books by Elizabeth Enright or Beverly Cleary, with lots of nods to children’s classics. Trigger warning: serious childhood illness

It's a long read, but if you like the world of SNL, comedy, television, or just straight up Lorne Michaels, then I definitely recommend reading this biography.

Great Study by Allen. She continues to challenge readers to lean not on their own understanding. She did a great job!

I liked the idea of this book but ended up not liking the book. It has a supernatural element that I did not enjoy. It also is a part of a character series, which was not made clear until the end of the book. Not my favorite.

So good. Love this author. He always has such amazing comparisons in his books, but this one has countless ones! The story was woven together beautifully.

I enjoyed this book. The author gives you useful strategies to your thought process. She shared a lot of opinions as well as some researched facts. I think this book is worth reading.
